HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD PROBLEMS WITH ADT; POOR SERVICE, LONG RESPONSE TIMES ETC.
We recently had a burglary,which was an inside job and ADT had set up street cameras paid for by the street. When we approached the street committee they requested a police case number which was provided but they have been dragging their heels about supplying the footage.It is now over 7 days since we requested the footage for the police The person we have contacted at ADT has been arrogant and the most unhelpfull person I have dealt with in a long time.
Even though they had been told that the footage was needed urgently for a court case and that there was the possibility of the suspect walking free without this footage
This is not the first time I have had problems with ADT. When ADT first came to this country they bought out a number of local security companies including Claw Security. Claw Security were doing a brilliant job at my business premises with response times of often under 5 minutes and during the period that they handled security we never lost a single item from numerous attempted break ins. After ADT took over we had numerous problems including poor response, items being stolen as a result of this. In one case they were able to access a walk in strong room and still have time to access the safe inside it and remove cash and a firearm. After this incident we changed from ADT to another security company.
My ex wife has also had problems with ADT on 2 separate occasions and has now changed to CAP Secuity and is very happy.
It also appears that they have recently taken over 7 Arrows Security and I am hearing of customers who were very happy before and are now very unhappy with ADT’s poor performance compared to 7 Arrows.
Has anybody else had problems with ADT; poor service, long response times etc.
